Zahra Katbay

Zahra Katbay received her B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the Lebanese University-ISAE-Cnam, Beirut in 2009, and M.Sc. degree in image and signal processing from the Lebanese University -EDST, Beirut in 2012. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Western Brittany-MATHSTICC in 2018.

She worked as laboratory instructor at the Lebanese university, University Institute of Technology in Saida, Lebanon from 2010 to 2018 and at the AUL University in Beirut from 2014 to 2018. Joined the ECE Department at Wayne State University as a postdoctoral fellow in August 2018.

Her main research interests include microwave systems design, sensors design for biomedical applications, and Wireless power transfer.
