Lama Abdul Kareem Kadoura

Lama Abdul Kareem Kadoura received her B.S degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Damascus University, Syria, Damascus, in 2002.

In 2015, she achieved an Electric vehicle development technology certificate at Macomb Community College at Warren, Michigan. She participated in a team that fabricated a prototype electric vehicle, which was featured in the Auto Show at Macomb Community College. Lama received the Vehicle Electrification Fundamentals and Safety certificate from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International in Michigan in 2015.

At 2015, Lama joined the ASC/AIRTEX fuel and Water Pumps team. She designed prototype brushless sensorless motor controller for 700.0 W fuel pump by using Mentor Graphics PADs tools. The controller included safety features which handled overvoltage (OV), undervoltage (UV), reverse polarity (RP), and overcurrent (OC) conditions and tested for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). She designed and implemented an electrostatic discharge (ESD) and an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test plans for conducted emissions (CE), for the designed controller.
